Dr. Yuping Chen is the director of the PhD in Health Sciences program and professor of the Department of Physical Therapy at Georgia State University. Dr. Chen teaches graduate-level courses including evidence-based practice, grant writing, and lifespan development. Her research interests include using innovative technology (i.e., virtual reality and robotics) to improve motor function in children with cerebral palsy and early detecting infants at risk of developmental delay to provide early intervention.
