Dr. Stacy Castronova is an adjunct faculty member at the College of DuPage, where she teaches in the Dental Hygiene program and the grant-funded Survey of Health Science Careers course supported by Kids Matter. A licensed dental hygienist since 2004, she brings over 20 years of clinical and educational experience to the field of health sciences.

She earned her Doctor of Health Sciences degree with a concentration in Educational Leadership from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, MA, along with advanced degrees in dental hygiene and science education.

Dr. Castronova’s research interests include musculoskeletal diseases, COVID-19, educational methodologies, oral health, and interprofessional education. She contributes to the field as a peer reviewer for the Internet Journal of Allied Health Sciences and Practice. She has shared her expertise through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national conferences, including the American Dental Hygienists’ Association Annual Conference, the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions, and the Harvard Leadership Forums Oral Health Integration Symposium.
